This letter was sent home yesterday and today regarding times for adjudicated event on Saturday March 13
High School Band and Choir Students and Parents:
The two groups have been working diligently preparing for Large Group Adjudicated Event and the Adjudicated Events Concert. Along with myself Miss Spinner and Mrs. Wenninger, we have brought in two high school music ‘experts’ to further prepare your students to do the best possible with this venture. We will also have 2-3 mock adjudicators set up at the concert that will give the groups comments and a realistic contest experience before actually being judged for a rating. Large Group is the biggest part of the music experience for your students’ school, music program and music reputation at your school. I hope you are as excited as I am to display what we have accomplished over the course of this year.

Students meet at school to collect materials 6:30AM

Arrival at WTHS 1:15PMAs you can see times are very important. We will have no more than 10 min. between the time band returns from sight reading and choir’s warm up time. Everyone will need to know when and where they need to be at all times.
I am asking that all students ride the bus to and from the event. If for whatever reason you would like your student to ride with you home from the event, I need a ‘transportation leave request’ or a note from parents saying the reason for the alternate transportation and the parent’s signature. These procedures are per school policy.
